Hollywood Walk & Backlot District
The Hollywood Walk & Backlot District links the historic Walk of Fame to a working backlot street still used for exterior film shoots. Guided groups get behind the rope lines that separate the sidewalk from active production days; self-guided visitors can follow the same route at their own pace with an included map.
Highlights include the hand and footprint forecourt, three preserved studio-era theatre facades, and a rotating exhibit of props on loan from current productions.

Yes — on some visit days a section may be closed for active production. Closures are noted on your digital ticket the morning of your visit.
Handheld cameras are welcome. Tripods and gimbals require a free filming permit, available at the entry desk.
